Costa Rica Dota x Mathias Zeldon Estate

ABOUT THIS COFFEE

This single origin, single variety coffee is produced by personal friends of ours, the Mathias Zeledon family in the Dota Tarrazu Valley in Costa Rica. The altitude of this estate between 1600-1800 meters above sea level produces what is known as Strictly Hard Bean coffee, (SHB). This coffee bean is denser and has a tightly closed fissure to effectively guard its outstanding aroma and flavor. This estate has won many awards with its select lots due to its well balanced yet fragrant aroma. Its mild taste with smooth body and sought-after acidity has become its trademark. These characteristics combine to produce a rich, crisp cup that's worthy of every award that it has won.
