Honduras San Vicente x Finca Don Andres
ABOUT THIS COFFEE
This fantastic Honey process microlot is grown by Finca Don Andres, owned by Josue Nahun Fernandez Sabillon. Josue began growing coffee under the direction of his father when he was 15. His father gave Josue and each of his 4 brothers a small plot of land on his farm with the hopes that they would develop the same passion and love for the land that him and his wife had. Joshua and his brothers are 4th generation Honduran Coffee farmers and the quality shows in the impressive cupping scores. This micro farm is located in the village of Las Flores, Santa Barbara, Honduras. At an elevation of 1550 meters with plenty of rainfall, this unique microclimate combines with innovative biodynamic farming practices to grow excellent coffee. The amount of love and care that a farmer can put into a small farm like this, is difficult, if not possible to scale to larger operations. Joshua produces Pacas, Catuai, Geisha and Parainema varieties with a harvest period of January-May. We've purchased their top microlot - A beautiful honey process that tops the cupping charts at 88 Points!
